How Are We A Green Hair Salon?

• Most items of salon waste are recycled or reused
• All hair cuttings are repurposed into oil-absorbing mats, donated for wigs, or added to compost
• Colour tubes and foil are collected via electric or carbon neutral transport and recycled or reused
• PPE, gloves, plastic lids and single-use plastics are recycled instead of sent to landfill
• We use Scrummi biodegradable hairdressing towels that break down in 8–12 weeks
• We use eco shower heads to reduce water usage
• Collections are carried out using electric or carbon neutral vehicles

These changes may seem small individually, but together they make a meaningful difference. Our eco waste management approach means nothing goes to waste. What would once have gone straight to landfill now gets a second life.

Why We Chose Sustainability

Our move towards sustainability really took shape after the pandemic. It gave us time to step back and reflect on how we wanted the business to grow and what truly mattered.

"I have been a vegetarian since I was 14, I garden organically, and I have always been passionate about recycling and making thoughtful choices about the products I buy and the impact we all have on the planet.
