At Cutting Room in Rotherham, we’re committed to providing you with the best possible experience in a welcoming and professional environment. To ensure everything runs smoothly for all our clients and our team, please take a moment to read through our salon policies.
Cancellations & Appointments
We recommend booking your appointment in advance to secure your preferred stylist and time. However, we always do our best to accommodate walk-ins whenever possible. Please arrive on time for your appointment – arriving late may mean we have to shorten or reschedule your service.
We completely understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us the opportunity to offer your appointment to another client.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. No-shows may be required to pay a deposit before booking future appointments.

Deposits
Some services, including colour work and longer appointments, may require a deposit to secure the booking. Deposits are non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice.
Allergy Alert Testing
Your safety is our top priority. If you are having a hair colour service, you must have a quick and simple Allergy Alert Test at least 48 hours before your appointment if:
- You’re a new client to Cutting Room.
- You haven’t had a colour service with us in the last 6 months+.
- You’ve had a change in health, medication, or have recently had a tattoo or henna treatment.
The test only takes a few minutes and must be completed at the salon. Unfortunately, we are unable to carry out any colour service without a valid Allergy Alert Test on record.
Children
We welcome children in the salon, but we kindly ask that they are supervised at all times and do not disturb other guests who may be relaxing during their treatments.
Refunds & Adjustments
We want you to leave the salon feeling fantastic! If for any reason you are not 100% happy with your hair, please let us know within 7 days of your appointment. We’ll invite you back in to assess and offer any necessary adjustments. Refunds are not offered for completed services.
